O Scale Western Maryland Class M-2 Challenger 4-6-6-4

A high quality superdetailed model of this engine is available now for immediate shipping. As the accompanying photos of a production sample show, it is a superb model that also runs as good as it looks. A thermic syphon plate has yet to be added on the sample. The model's free-rolling mechanism has a drive that never disengages and allows the model to run with a faster or slower engine with no harm and handle trains with complete control while not sacrificing prototypical operation. This model will not run away for any reason, complete control is maintained with no sophisticated controllers. All that is necessary is a filtered D.C. power supply of 12-18 volts. On most layouts the operator will drive the engine to maintain track speed, giving the prototype operating characteristics with no gimmicks. All efforts have been made to minimize noise and achieve the best possible operating life. The engine was designed with the operator in mind. The builder is Boo-Rim Precision Co., Inc. who also built the Western Maryland J-1 4-8-4.
