The pictures shown here show a very unique and interesting locomotive and cars that allow the owner to enjoy large scale models and needs very little space. It can operate on as little as a 9 inch radius and looks good doing so. It is setup for 9 volt battery power, but can be ordered for track power. Using a battery it operates flawlessly over the dirtiest of track without hesitation or stall and with the working headlights turned off will do so for 3-5 hours on one charge. The gauge is O gauge and the track shown is either House of Duddy or Atlas code .148 track. It has built in direction control as well as speed control and you can see the brass rod extensions for the controls which can be removed for those who don't want to use them. The models are constructed of brass with stainless double insulated stainless steel wheels on the locomotive and double insulated nickle plated wheels on the cars. This a fun alternative for those who have 2 or 3 rail O gauge layouts as these models will run on any layout that has the height clearance as the top of the cab equals an extended height car. The axles are sprung and the standard mechanism is geared for exceptionally slow and smooth speed, as per prototype. A video is being produced so that you can see the models in operation. The standard locomotive in either frame color is $350.00 each and the cars in either red, light gray, or weathered black are $90.00 each. The scale is 1/19.2 and the prototype gauge is 24 inches so this train can complement your 1/20.3 three foot gauge or standard gauge. Use this train to load your larger gauge cars at an interchange.
